You know how when you’re on the tarmac it’s always a 30 minute delay at a time even though they knew damn well from the start it was gonna be 3-4 hours?
Same principle here.
When everyone freaked out cuz Trumpito said it could last til July or August he was lying just as much as ever. He had just seen info that it was in fact gonna last a whole hell of a lot longer than that.
They’re gonna keep adding another month or two months to things to try to curtail panic.
Don’t expect big events back anytime soon.

I'm a DJ, a graphic designer and I bet NBA/NFL/Boxing for a living and just like that my incomes are gone.
I see the writing on the wall. I had a job at Roc Nation as a Digital Marketing Specialist for a while and had been trying to get back into the job market recently because I took a pretty big financial hit but now I'm seeing I won't be able to DJ or bet for a while which really sucks. I've pretty much been spending this time looking for remote marketing or graphic design work while trying to learn R/data analytics so I can have a new skillset.

Trump does a lot of dumb shyt...but how he handles countries like China is one of his positive points (IMO).
Obama got played in Syria/Iran and in other international situations.

If you don't think Trump is getting played in international situations on the regular I don't know what to tell you.

Even though trump dropped the ball big time I’m starting to feel like China really didn’t tell us everything about this virus.

tbh it's pretty much going exactly how the epidemiologists predicted it would go from the beginning. People just didn't want to believe it. I've been reading the papers including ones from Chinese scientists and using Chinese data, and while I certainly won't argue that we know the Chinese data is accurate, I haven't seen anything happen yet that was out of line with what China suggested was happening.

He absolutely is a wartime president. Especially since Americans dgaf about people dying off in some other country somewhere, this is all 100x more important to them than anything short of world war. And he's standing there just shytting his pants in front of the world.

I don't even buy into the idea of saying a virus originated from a particular region is racist. We have several viruses for example that are named after locations around the world like West Nile Virus and shyt.

I'm more laughing that this guy really really finds it important to highlight the virus is Chinese in origin as if it people who are worried about getting sick, already sick, or dying give a shyt about it being labeled the Chinese virus. It tells you what type of people are in this administration. You probably have more people in The White House discussing his re-election chances and how to use its Chinese as successful election rhetoric than they care about having an effective response to this shyt. They are only now doing things to mitigate the damage which they should have been doing from the get-go because people have been on their ass these past few weeks and even then it seems like its pulling teeth to get the Trump administration to act with any maturity about this shyt.

But making sure everyone knows the virus is Chinese is the most important thing in their mind. lol..

And who exactly is dumb enough to think that calling it the "Chinese virus" is a win somehow? What, China is going to back down further on the trade deal to get Trump to stop using that name? His administration's response is going to look less incompetent if the name sticks? What exactly is he gonna win with that?

FL schools closed now until April 15

I have a growing athletic teenage boy with a fast metabolism.

I need my stimulus check now just to feed his behind.

I love him but he eat too damn much!!!

Edit: The voice message I received from the school also gave parents the option to either pass their children to the next grade or to repeat the same grade again. Who would make their child repeat the same grade when they got so far into the school year?!?
