It wasn't just Ramsey and Jack. They had a great draft overall defensively. I thought this was the Cowboys mindset heading into the draft.

Its never been about if zeke if good or not. Its a given he will beast behind our line..the problem is leaving holes in the secondary. Any decent back will beast behind our line based off what mcfadden did last year as a focal point

the fact that a talent like Chubb could be available in the 2nd just shows how bad of a value picking zeke at 4 was. chubb was a legit Heisman candidate before the injury, he's good enough to run for 1500 behind our line. hell a lot of backs are, thats the problem. Its not about zeke being better or whatnot, its the value of the pick

why do you keep bringing up TD's? McFadden was rarely in a position to score due to poor QB play. fact is, we averaged 4.6 ypc (which is top 5 in the league) with teams loading the box due to poor qb play. you cant convince me we needed to pick him at 4, its just poor value.

when a retread like McFadden is top 5 in the league in rushing, you probably shouldn't use your 4t overall pick on a rb. again, Zeke will do very well behind the line, but a lot of rb's would.
