Pretty good with those smilies but tha fact remains KL is not a star an he is best white player. Define star? Chris Anderson is a white star with a fraction of Love's stats. Its not that hard man...appeal makes u a star moreso than ability.

I agree with that but Birdman isn't close to a star breh

Crazy how some dudes up here claim to be "young" but they're commenting on Chambers was/wasn't a star. How the heck do y'all know if y'all didn't see him play?:youngsabo:

Tom Chambers wasn't a star back then so why would he be one now? When he was getting selected as an All Star and was clearly the best player on his team it didn't mean anything because his team wasn't making the playoffs. When he finally got on a playoff team he was the 6th man behind Charles Barkley and Dan Majerle

Dan Majerle:heh:

:what: why you trying to throw shade on Thunder Dan? they didn't even play the same position, Majerle was a 2-guard

I'm no young buck but, I'm not that old. In defense to some of the guys on here we do have videos of past games on youtube and stuff like that.

Amar'e is a star player, or was

I don't see why Chambers couldn't. They were similar players, although Chambers is a more complete scorer.

I know he was a two guard obviously you are not familiar with that teams dynamics back then.

Dan and Barkley were the main scorers. Chambers came off the bench to provide scoring when the two of them were out.

An modern example would be Jr Smith coming off the bench to provide a scoring option when Melo and Amare are out. He was the main scorer for the second rotation. You surround Amare and Melo with Defenders and Facilitators. when they come out jr(Chambers) was the main scorer while the backups were in the game.

Amare was a star because of his dunking ability. Chambers is a better scorer than blake griffin too but he'd never reach the same status as blake.

So you think a good looking white athletic guy who had springs in his shoes who and can score when he wanted couldn't be more marketable then Blake today?

Tom would be doing McDonalds and Kraft commercial like no other.
