fukk outta here breh. you can say whatever you want about me, but that post was embarrassing

Nope. Opening for the sake of survival just increases the chances of your patrons getting coronavirus. Which means these stores still fukking close, but now they close having potentially killed a few fukking people who would have lived had they not reopened.

Essentially they took a few people with them before they died.

You think reopening and playing the coronavirus odds without a plan is sustainable? No fukking way. So stop with your fake concern.

Lots of bullshyt. Just like America. No one has a plan because they keep expecting shyt to go back to normal.

Are you ready to have a conversation now?

Going to grocery stores and Walmart are of necessity. Restaurants are not.

People have no confidence that they will be safe in places like restaurants. Whether it is true or not, the perception is, grocery stores and Walmart have put measures in place to maintain social distancing and to encourage/enforce the use of masks etc. How would that be achieved in a restaurant? What measure would they need to take? Remove some seating? Ok...but most restaurants are volume based so that's not sustainable...so what are the real options? Raise prices? Then people stop coming anyway.

Seriously. Enough fake outrage. What is a suitable plan that can allow restaurants to open safely without killing people.

stay home if you're over 60. everyone else, be careful. that's option 1

option 2 is the government print out of thin air, every single dollar the economy loses while we all stay home

if that works, i'm all for it. i dont think it does though :why: if that would actually work, you think i have a problem with it? but i havent seen a democrat propose it...so i don't think it actually would work

the whole situation is lose/lose :snoop: it's all just awful

Hey man...you ok? Just curious, but what kind of culture/state are you from? You bounce back and forth in the way you write.

Everybody isn't going to the grocery store and walmart, unless you mean figuratively, since many of us are having our groceries delivered. I haven't stepped foot in a grocery store since February. You miss breh's point. At this stage, with no effective treatment available, there is no chance of these restaurants surviving without government intervention. Do YOU support the government paying their rent and ensuring their employees are all financially whole until this crisis subsides? If you do, cool, for I do, as well. If you don't, while sitting here feigning concern for the wellbeing of these proprietors, the breh's charge that you're a concern troll echoing right wing talking points from a place of white privilege stands.

His schtick, which has been unchanged for however many years he's been a member of this community, is to feign support for progressivism while fretting over its "cost" and "impracticality" when concerns of his own economic welfare become considerations in its implementation. Typical Bernie Bros claptrap. The vast majority of Bernie Bros are accelerationists who support socialism for white people. Their charade of progressivism always loses its luster when the very policy they pretended to be such staunch advocates of becomes possible at the expense of their privilege as white men and women. Bernie Bros are Trump supporters from the left flank and always have been.
