Just as we all suspected. Hopefully this can be brought to light and desantis and/or whoever isninvolved can be held accountable.
With that said I have a feeling now that we know this will crush black and poor communities we will see low numbers in those shady states but reports from real people will be saying otherwise

It’s wild how it’s grown adults who think things are gonna go back to pre-coronavirus in the snap of a finger.

:mjlol:

Like I been telling ppl, this is a biological 9/11. Just like 9/11 changed national security, the airline industry....covid is gonna change EVERY industry. An what makes it worse, Trump and tha federal government have NO type of plan and are not gonna attempt to do a plan to have this country operating to live with coronavirus.

Everybody isn't going to the grocery store and walmart, unless you mean figuratively, since many of us are having our groceries delivered. I haven't stepped foot in a grocery store since February. You miss breh's point. At this stage, with no effective treatment available, there is no chance of these restaurants surviving without government intervention. Do YOU support the government paying their rent and ensuring their employees are all financially whole until this crisis subsides? If you do, cool, for I do, as well. If you don't, while sitting here feigning concern for the wellbeing of these proprietors, the breh's charge that you're a concern troll echoing right wing talking points from a place of white privilege stands.

:russell: that obviously isnt feasible. the most realistic thing is people over 60 staying home and letting people start to go out

wasnt the point of the lockdown to flatten the curve? its been flattened almost everywhere :dahell:

The point is, it wasn’t the old sick people doing all the spreading in the first place, nor is it just old and sick people overrunning hospitals.

People go back out like nothing happened, we will be right back where we were a couple weeks ago.

On the other side of that. Lots of businesses exist on the fact that they can pack people in by the numbers. Lots of businesses economics don’t work if they can’t pack lots of people in.

Furthermore lots of peoples habits have changed for good. You open up movie theaters, amusement parks etc, numbers will be down as people are reluctant to go, then the businesses still lose money and can’t pay their employees.

The point of all this is to say “just open back up” isn’t good enough.

There needs to be detailed plans, regulations, support, etc, for businesses and individuals as we all figure out how life works moving forward.

No they have not.

Most are talking about slow cautious openings with lots of regulations and government help involved.

The ones that aren’t are the states who’s numbers are still fukked and they’ve just decided to let people die in order to help the president look good.
