Cory is "serious", he's just corporate Democrat which is why he's inclined to take half-measures.

I suppose that makes him "less serious", but I don't like the notion that it erases him as a legitimate voice for criminal legal reform in the Senate.

He doesn't have natural charisma but he's a good public speaker....a lot better than people might think.

Hopefully people give more weight to his message and record than to his "swag"

Booker was defending the corporate interests that back him if I recall correctly.....and setting up the groundwork for this 2020 run.
He threw several shots at Obama over the years.

If you really think about it, Obama leapfrogged CB and Harold Ford( and Jesse Jackson Jr.). They were the ones being groomed for possible pres./ vp runs. I always felt that Booker halfway felt that Obama stole his thunder.
