Can't be much worse then now just would rather get some role players instead of chasing names

I'd been campaigning for Turner and Hield before the season started, but everyone keep shooting that down, including the FO.

So fukk it, bring in the Flat Earther, word to @xCivicx

Norfeast groovin…
Ima be honest, this seems like a perfect opportunity. Like breh said, the Rui deal helped a great deal. I’m wondering if we can swing a three team trade with the Bulls just to sweeten the pot for BK and get back Kyrie, Harris or Seth, and Caruso?

Brehs, this might turn the season around. Sure, it might not be surefire championship but it’s way better than this shyt.

I'm down for literally ANY move that gets Westbrook the fukk out of LA.

Now we talking about going from 2-16, 3 blown layups, two backboard shots, 3-8 FTs and 6 turnovers for a smooth 25 PPG clutch bucket getter?????????

I'm SICK :to:

I agree with most of what you said. However, to be fair. The role players won games and play elite-level defense when Bron or AD missed games during the RS...LA had the #1 ranked defense despite Lebron/AD missing a combines 63 games in a 72 games season........Chemistry/Covid Protocol/Injuries all played a role in the Lakers' postseason elimination.

* Lebron/AD were playing at less than 75%...If AD or Lebron was healthy LA would've made it out of the first round despite the teams shooting deficiencies.

* Dennis put up 15.4p/5.8a/1.2s on 44/34/85 shooting during the RS and held it down when AD/Lebron were out.....I think we tend too over exaggerate how bad he was during the playoffs due to the two shytty games he had...In the first 3 games of the Phoenix series Dennis put up: (14,24,20) 19.3p/3.3a on 56/40/80 shooting...That's damn good (the Lakers up 2-1 in the series).....But Dennis was trash in games 4/5...I believe turning down 84m and being in covid protocol twice magnified Laker fans' disdain for Dennis.

* The Drummond signing.....We can't talk about the role players not performing during the playoffs without talking about the role players getting bushed after the Lakers acquired Drummond...Hard to perform when you get benched for no reason. One of the reasons why the Lakers shot poorly during the postseason is that they played Drummond > Gasol

The comment was specifically about the players that got lost due to the Westbrook trade though. That was just Kuzma, Harrell, and KCP. Of those three, only KCP's loss mattered, the only loss for the other two is that they should have been better trade bait than that.

I agree that Gasol's contribution was way underappreciated and the Lakers fukked up bad by benching him. Schroeder was meh because of all those late fukk-ups with Covid and games 4/5, and he wasn't worth anywhere near what he was asking for.

This would be insanely idiotic. Two first round picks AND taking on Joe Harris' atrocious contract? :mjlol:

There's fewer than 30 games left in the season. :camby:

I would do a Toronto deal for FVV and Trent over this if it's for both picks.

If they didn't win it this year with KyME and Harris, they'd be completely fukked this summer AND going forward until the end of the decade. :scusthov:

worst part about kyrie being available is that now bron is going to be acting whiny and taking sub shots at the front office when it eventually doesn't get done.

it's about that time too. he always does it during the deadline
