I've been more optimistic longer than most, but the Lebron-AD Lakers era should be done. Won't be this season because of the Bron contract extension, but its best for both parties that this is over ASAP.

The Lakers are a joke franchise run like a mom and pop shop and an incompetent GM who only has a job in the league due to nepotism. AD's injuries have taken a toll, he's no longer a Top 10 player, and he has no heart anymore. Lebron is aging, and while I believe he can still be a top-end impact player on a contending team, this ain't 2018 anymore: he can't carry. The rest of the guys are retreads and Klutch favors.

Pelinka and cheap ownership crashed a championship plane into a fukking tower. The product on the floor is an affront to basketball and disrespectful to both Lebron's and the Lakers franchise legacy. End it.

A trade will be done in the next week or so. The pressure is mounting and the last thing Jeanie and Pelinka want is the optics of gifting the Pelicans Wemby. They're going to take a gamble on Kyrie or trade Russ and at least one of the picks for serviceable role players.

Bron actually looked good last night for the first time this season and most of the role players did not show up.

Still can't believe they signed Bron to an extension. It's been clear since he arrived in LA that he can't sustain an entire season of high production without time out for injury/rest. That's just part of the aging process and was only going to get worse as he aged. Meanwhile, the supporting cast has gotten worse.

If Buss and Pelinka were bold this would be the last season with the centerpieces of Bron/AD/Russ. There's clearly no difference in performance between this team and a rebuilding/tanking one.
