This shyt was damn near like a human sacrifice really. KD got to join a stacked team and get two rings and Finals MVP's now the Warriors(front office & players) told him he since he's not one of the home grown originals had to pay to piper and put his body on the line. Remember he has to go through this injury by himself on his own while his teammates are gonna keep it pushing despite the kind words they're giving him. They back in it now.

never forget one of kawhi's main issue with the spurs was their management of his medical issues.

Yep. Kawhis group wanted to deal with the injury themselves after the spurs diagnosis

A damn shame what happened to Durant. Really hoping it isnt a torn Achilles. Give the man his money.

This situation makes warriors look like celtics organization. Force your player to go play while he's still injured and possibly fukk up his career. Obviously dude still getting max but that's probably no more basketball till next year, time for a new KD chapter.

They have a stacked up roster, if Kerr was actually coaching they should've won this game even without KD's presence.

City of Angels :blessed:
I don't think KD did anything he didn't want to do. At his point in his career he's not being forced to play by anybody. If he felt like he could go, what can you do? :yeshrug:

And it's possible he DID feel completely fine and normal (he looked like normal KD out there) but was overcompensating because he was still worried about the calf and that led to the Achilles tear..

Kd is already 30
Which means by the time he fully recovers he"ll be 31-32 which by that time your athletic peak is on the decline, not to mention the Achilles with have slow him down permanently.

What kd is going to have to do is
Gain 25 pounds.
Work on being more of a post player.
Continue to work on his game with his back to the basket.

He needs to go watch film of Dirk Nowitzki because that's who is going to be athletically for the rest of his career, he'll never get that explosiveness, quickeness back. But can still use his height and his body to his atvantage
