Man I love colonoscopies. Look forward to them . Have had so many because certain health issues and because of polyps they’ve found .So I have them like every two years or so . Getting to put to sleep one of the best feelings in the world for me

The prep is the hardest drink to describe but the worst drink you’ll ever taste

Had my first last November but never took any anesthesia.

White nurses looked at me like I was crazy. Looking at that screen on my side and crossing my fingers that there was no polyp. No pain what so ever.

My first meal was a cup of oatmeal and 3 Mcgriddles.

You'll be fine. Keep a clear path to the bathroom, it will be liquid in and out. Procedure is painless, they gave me anesthesia, wheeled me in the room, was out cold in less than a minute. Woke up groggy and tired, went home and was fine. The only pain in the ass is getting a good prep nurse that can find a vein for the anesthesia.

You should NEVER go under unless you really have to. They can detect Colon cancer without a colonoscopy.
