Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Back in February 2020...

Got one done in the motherland at the tender age of 38.

Which is fine.

But since i wasn't aware of the protocols preceding the event... i got it done non-sedated.

Shiit was straight out of a horror movie.

I was consicous the whole time and it was excruciating.

But i took it like a rape victim.

My friend's mom had one this morning, she just told me she only had to take pills to prep, not the liquid

OP..

I had mine done last year. I think that I handled the process & procedure pretty well..

The process itself including preparation wasn't the best, but @ the same time, I was glad that I went through the experience.

I didn't have any polyps which was a blessing! Only thing I had was internal hemmoroids. Could have been a lot worse.

I would tell any man, especially Black men to get it done if necessary! Same with prostate exams. Swallow your pride and take care of your health!
I’m having one soon, from what I’m reading it’s hella common to always find polyps… I felt that was discouraging, I didn’t know polyps were that common.

I'm glad that you decided to get it done. I am sure it is common, but hopefully you won't have any. Just get it done and should you have any, then your doctor should get rid of them. Salute! 😎👍🏿

If that is the case, then I am one lucky man! I didn't have any and glad I didn't. Hopefully, you will have the same results as me.

Had my first last November but never took any anesthesia.

White nurses looked at me like I was crazy. Looking at that screen on my side and crossing my fingers that there was no polyp. No pain what so ever.

My first meal was a cup of oatmeal and 3 Mcgriddles.
