With social media playing with the subscription model more & more lately, what features do you think The Coli could offer to make brehs consider paying for a subscription?
Ad-free would probably be the most obvious. Maybe cloud space to load custom smileys to your profile?

Can you edit the code of this place so it automatically picks up content posted from birdland - twitter, instagram, facebook etc.. - and places a prefix in front of it? Should be as simple as scanning the first post for the URLs and tagging the title automatically. That way we can support...

I'd like to think that a good number of folks would toss a buck or two monthly if the experience could be more convenient, be it server support or a guaranteed paid Coli stream for live event threads (if that's even possible).

Also, it must be said. I'm not endorsing the idea of a Coli membership costing money. I agree that it should be free. I'm just asking, "What would be some additional perks that'd be worth a couple dollars a month for folks that use this site often?" It's not like donations haven't already been done and we have supporter badges.

And at least the frat or sorority member has a chance to network and connect with someone who can set them up with some good opportunities post-graduation.

I asked who owned it and made a suggestion on donating to improve the site. A small donation or the more fancy word of investing might help with the mechanics of fixing the site. I noticed some of the threads have hundreds and thousands of views. Hopefully they are humans that could contribute and not bots searching the site.
Again, who owns the site? And those that know why is it top secret?
