I thought this would be a fun movie but I was pretty disappointed by it. Too many long scenes with Gosling and Blunt yapping about shyt we don't care about. Their chemistry didn't seem to have much spark either. I was pretty bored by this flick and make sense why it flopped. 5/10.

this movie is about what happens in a border town (American and Mexican over the course of a week or so). Don't pay attention to the poster , that don't happen in the movie. It was a slow boil but I was cool with everything that was happening in the movie until Zoe Saldana wanna get on her soapbox and get all preachey (You take and take and take because you are empty or some shiet).


No. We take because its there to take, no other reason. And you yelling at a middle management person who cant do anything other than cash a check. Zoe made a decision earlier in the movie because she couldn't live with her reality, seeing all the nonsense that happen since, I bet she is wondering whether or not , she should have made a different choice, 6/10

i got to the scene where he takes Jodi Foster to the hotel room and I couldn't get any further, my wifi went out. I will say that this was the first film where you could tell that the every day white man was unsatisfied and uninterested in the picket fence. Still can't believe he took Cybill Shepard to a porno movie.

You can immediately tell it's an adaption of a play because of the theatrical tone, and it being restricted to 2-3 people in a room for most of the film. It works because the performances are so good, and the climax is pretty great.
