I just went to a film festival this weekend. I cannot figure out how to post pics for some reason so I saw:
The Piano Lesson - Danielle Deadwyler - Sam Jackson - movie about a southern family dealing with their legacy and what to do with a family heirloom in the form of a piano.
The Order - Jude Law Nicholas Hoult - Bank robberies in the mid 80s are the work of domestic terrorists which later help define the white supremacy movement.
Elton John - Never too Late - biopic about the beginning of Elton's career when he just hit it big and syncing it up with the closing out of his last world tour.
Saturday Night - Lamorne Morris - Young Lorne Michaels is trying to put on NBCs first real live variety show in the face of about 500 things going wrong the debut night. This is essentially a film about the last 90 minutes before they went on with the first show.
Carville, Winning is Everything Stupid. - documentary about the life and career of James Carville and how he is doing it one last time maybe to see if he can beat Trump at getting the presidency.
All were good and I was so happy to have the chance to see them in the atmosphere where everyone there loves movies which causes it to be a better experience.
