Beautiful movie. No idea why I took so long before watching it.
Is midsommar gross? I heard theirs some disturbing shyt in it which im fine with. I'm just not cool with having disgusting imagery in my mind for the next few weeks
This movie was kinda alright. Not the best King movie, but it's worth a whatever and it's late at night watch.
Sighs....as much as this movie got shytted on, it wasn't that bad imo. Yes the acting is atrocious (except for the main girl who acted her entire ass off throughout the whole movie, and that's sad as all hell), but it's just a typical corny horror flick that was under budget especially during the pandemic.

I wouldn't call it "gross" per se. But that's highly subjective anyway. There's a couple moments that might make you go
, more so because they're unexpected but it's not gore/trash.

Had this in my list for a minute. The young kid does a good job in emulating the Ryan Reynolds style, but Reynolds himself mostly coasted throughout. Really bad villain too.
That first hour was one of my biggest “Movies are back” moments from last year. Every scene felt like a shot of adrenaline.
WTF did I just watch. Ari Aster if nothing else has a wild imagination and this is definitely the funniest film of his that I've seen. There are opening moments that I thought were hilarious and Joaquin is certainly committed to the character. Movie is very long and arguably gets even stranger as it reaches the conclusion. Hit up YouTube to see the many different theories as to what people think is exactly happening.

Now I like all these kinds of artsy/weirdo/A24 type movies and eally loved various previous Lanthimos movies (Dogtooth, Killing of a Sacred Deer and The Lobster) but this one really disappointed me
I'm currently watching the original Godzilla...Godzilla King of the Monsters that came out in like 1956
I'm glad my late uncle, may he rest in paradise he passed away in 2019, but when I was like 3 or 4 years old he put me on to Godzilla movies, and he recorded all of them for me.
But yeah I love Godzilla brehs , about two weeks ago I went to the movies with my brother and watched Godzilla Minus 1, I was not disappointed. It's a great movie, definitely better than the Godzilla that came out in like 2014, and this version of Godzilla is much better.

I knew it was a comedy going in, but didn't realize how much they would crank up the tension and anxiety throughout. The setting, score, and camera movement really help in taking an uncomfortable situation and continuing to make it work it worse. A lot of funny moments throughout though.
