Pam Anderson looked terrible. Summer was unrecognizable. Stupid plot. The actors/actresses must've really needed the money.

Didn't like how they did the whole "the main protagonist killed the killer but went crazy and became a killer too" ala Tenebre.

It’s way better to just go into this without watching a trailer. Even though I figured out the twists and turns early on, there’s just something to admire about the way Almodóvar conveys emotion in his films. I’m glad it kept things grounded, intimate, and didn’t take the deranged turns that I was thinking of.

Penélope gives one of her best performances to the surprise of no one, but I could also see Milena Smit blowing up after this. It wouldn’t shock me at all. Really enjoyed this.

One of the best/original genre movies I've seen these past years, absolutely loved it. Kids discovering they have some super powers, and things go left. Really recommend it to those who like slow-burn movies. I don't really know how to describe it. I'll just say that if you like high-octane slashers with jump scares it's not for you. If you like those Hereditary/The Witch type movies I'd say give it a shot.

Female Prisoner #701 and Jailhouse 41

The 70s exploitation era was something else worldwide :wow:

Meiko Kaji is gorgeous and I'm just now realizing she was Lady Snowblood too :leon:

I'm very curious what she does now that she's successfully escaped and killed the warden

Beast Stable was the last of the trilogy the OG director worked on and while it was the worst of the 3, it still would've served as a good finale to Nami's story.

Grudge Song though...you can tell right off the bat there's a new director. He tries to get the style down but never quite achieves it. In fact, Nami is damn near out of character until the very end where it's entirely too late. Stick with the first 3 if you actually want a good story told across movies.

I'm pretty sure every viewer knew the deputy was the killer. They just happened to know which direction she'd run in and dump the boy's body there :stopitslime:. DO NOT WATCH THIS shyt.
