The Democratic Party is at least 7-8 years from a super majority (WH, House+Senate) where they can do whatever they want regardless of how much the GOP tries to block
So until that happens, all these pipe dreams about reaching across the aisle are wet farts at best. Might lead to some shyt, but realistically will just result in an uncomfortable situation.
The GOP, for the 1000th time, are not trying to negotiate this whole "progressive" agenda that those on the left want to institute

Trump is the Conservatives dream fulfilled: Says what he wants, does what he wants, regardless of who it might offend or what unspoken rules he might be breaking.
