I did this shyt the other day, switching from warm to lukewarm alone was brutal but that ice cold shyt had me hyperventilating but I felt strong as fukk when I got out. :russ:

Did a little workout before and felt good

Never been a hot shower guy (<<<room temp. water), but, I gotta research more

:guilty: I think it (cold showers) was the reason I was #2 more than normal, yesterday, too

i dont see myself getting used to it, but it does feel good afterward. some
of those benefits seem like broscience though (cancer, hair loss)

No homo brehs but that ice cold water feels wonderful on my nuts:ahh:, but I feel much more awake and energetic. There's just the part where you gotta acclimate, goddamn that shyt is harsh.

I normally do 30 seconds to a minute at the end of my shower. I tried to go cold all the way and I just can't handle that shyt.

Man it's so hot in miami I don't even think the sun would allow cold water to flow through the pipes...so once it hits u in the shower it's not that cold

what y all know about going to the pool at 1-2 AM and the water is freezing cold ? :noah:



Just took a cold shower after 2 hours of working out. Feeling awake and energetic :whew:

Out of curiosity I took the temp. of my water on full cold it was 49 degrees. I can shower comfortably at 65 degrees. It does have me feeling invigorated like a mofo.

I used to box and weighlift heavy so i needed this type of thing cause my nerves would literally feel like :bustback: inside

So i got on this cold shower wave. Turning gradually just prolongs the torture. Just switch it immediately to the coldest setting and stand there STIFF and STILL as hell, eyes clenched shut and fight that **** mentally. I usually stand there eyes closed like:omg: Focus the water to hit that spot on the back of your neck. like so:

that spot is really the heart of the nervous system, and once that area gets over the shock of the freezing cold, it gets easier from there. Stay in that water, still as **** until you FEEL your heart start beating faster, like you feel it beating deep and heavy. Stay for about another 20-30 seconds(circulation takes about 23 seconds to do a full cycle), then you can get out.

Its torture brehs, but believe me, it works if you work out heavy, its good for your skin, great for circulation, and will WAKE you up like :merchant:

Its a mental exercise too, dont run from it, stand there and focus on the torture mentally. When you done, believe me, for the next hour or so, you goin step out feeling strong as an OX:bryan:

I've seen athletes take ice baths all the time. I've been considering doing this for a while.
