It's crazy to me that WWE was literally gift wrapped a face of the company in Cody, and some of ya'll want Roman Reigns (who was HATED by the IWC not even three years ago) to have a never ending title reign only to job to a PWG HOFer or his cousin who's never had a credible singles run ever OR have Cody lose at WM killing his momentum and the business at the same time.

Think the problems they encountered are a) how successful the Bloodline story has been and b) not realizing that he is approaching 1,000 days as champ (a massive milestone that only Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Hoegan, and Pedro Morales have hit) which would cement his status.

Roman had the belt long enough and needs to focus solely on the bloodline angle. They could probably revisit it by Royal Rumble

Business was down and the best two matches were non finishes or fukkery filled with Mankind and Vader matches(both fire b4 the finish). The aww shucks I'm now the champ aint worked since Baclund. That's why that MSG crowd was hyped for Sid to kill him at Survivor Series 96. Hbk was the face

Company kinda shoot itself in the foot by making the “Wrestlemania moment” the end all be all

Cody getting the belt(s) at Mania is in a lot of ways more bout him finally getting his Wrestlemania moment than him winning the title, or at least just as much bout that

Even those in this thread who want him to get it now want it for that very reason

There should be a SummerSlam moment by now

Daniel Bryan has a believable skill set fot a lil nikka so does Chris benoit.... im 6'2 and I wouldn't wanna fight benoit or d bry.... rey mysterio isn't going around powerbombing nikkas... Brons moveset would be exposed vs a dude that's significantly bigger than him... he not press slamming Roman reigns.. it looks good vs the lil bobble head nikkas. But like I said Bron legit not built like that.... he gonna get to the main roster and look like lars Sullivan

Dawg, you brought up size in the first place. I didn’t start this conversation.

But you do have a point about Bron’s moveset. If he’s not as strong as he appears to be he’s gonna have to change his moveset.
