Co-worker just got screwed in divorce court

Divorce court basically comes down to who make most right? I asked because a co- worker of mins recently turned down a raise, we'll in his words only took a part of it. His reasoning as he wanted stay below his wife in salary. He said its been rough the last couple years but she makes more so he thinks/knows as soon as he tops her in salary that broad filing for divorce.

Is this smart? White couple.

1,500 a month aint really that much if the kids need babysitter/day care. Those fees can easily run you 1g a month. Easy

You're so narrow-minded....Lemme break it down to you, breh.

If you start a family, and establish a lifestyle for that family --- then that lifestyle will be maintained post divorce. Period. The state is not going to penalize the children, just because ya'll couldnt get ya sht together.

She has the kids, right? Well, babysitters, private school, music lessons, tutors, sports, etc, etc, etc...that sht adds up. They are not going to have those things taken away from them in a divorce. He is going to help maintain their comfortable, and advantageous lifestyle. Thats the way it is, unless he takes the kids himself.

Clearly it will be thrown out because they have an agreement.
