Co-worker just got screwed in divorce court

Divorce court basically comes down to who make most right? I asked because a co- worker of mins recently turned down a raise, we'll in his words only took a part of it. His reasoning as he wanted stay below his wife in salary. He said its been rough the last couple years but she makes more so he thinks/knows as soon as he tops her in salary that broad filing for divorce.

Is this smart? White couple.

My sister-in-law got into a nasty divorce. Fortunately for the ex-husband, he got child support because he was going to school and she was working. He did get screwed over because she had gambling debts on credit card in the thousands where he was responsible for half even though she filed for bankruptcy for her half of the debt. So to clarify for example (I don't know the exact numbers but it's bigger than my example numbers), they have $10,000 credit limit, they have $1,000 already used for regular expenses, but she tops it off by gambling $9,000 and losing it all. She files for bankruptcy which clears her for half, i.e. $5,000 and leaves him with half. He doesn't even gamble. But now, she complains that she has to pay for child suppport even though she was the one who blew thousands of dollars. It's like "you are paying a small amount in comparison to the amount you lost in gambling. Get off your high horse".

For as long as I've been alive, my uncle been a player. Barbeque this month, he dating one broad. Birthday party next month, it's a new broad. 2 weeks later, its another. All the women in my family started giving him the screw face, hounding him about when he gonna settle down Saying he too old to be running around Turns out he was married once. My mom never told me that part of the story




He told me he got married when he was 25, 26. I was a baby then. Got divorced by 32. His ex-wife took him for his house and over six figures. Unc told me he damn near cried in the courtroom He had to hand over all that money to the bish, a year or so later, she blew through every last dime, got pregnant by some other dude and tried to crawl back to my uncle I asked my mom and she was like...."Yea. She did. It was a long time ago though" Of course that nikka dont want to get married again...

Long story short, a man had to pay $74,000 to settle his case, plus child support which was $2,000 plus a month.

The most messed up part though was when the judge told him he couldn't stay at the house anymore, and would therefore have to find a new place to live.

I'll never forget this.......He asked the judge "where am I suppose to stay?"

The judge told him

"That's not my problem."

And then the tears began to roll.

I felt for him because that was the same thing a judge told my dad when he got arrested. They just don't care breh.

Do something that will have you standing before a judge in court brehs!!!

Damn, he had to really turn down a raise and possible promotion because he's scared that his wife will take him to court as soon as his salary gets bigger? This is the reality we live in this day

1,500 a month aint really that much if the kids need babysitter/day care. Those fees can easily run you 1g a month. Easy
