I think they should lose the Disney name and call the service something else. HBO MAX has the rights to all the DC shyt.. Basically make a new name like Facebook is now Meta.. Put all the disney, espn shyt on there, have cnn exclusive documentarys. Then make a major move like buy Starz.. Get the Spartacus, Power, BMF, P-VALLEY shyt then continue to produce new ips..

I said when Disney+ first dropped and came online that they should have a Marvel movie specifically made for Disney+ to boost up the name and get a windfall of subs.. But all the Mouse heads laughed at the notion and said there was too much money to be made at the box office to make a Marvel flick strictly for D+.. Then the pandemic came and theaters shut down But honestly they own damn near everything under the sun. Just merge D+ and Hulu and unleash the massive monstrous catalog on the masses. Their solution is the simplest shyt ever but their ego and the "we want things to be a certain way" mindstate won't allow them to do it.

They are owned by the same people who own HBO Max. it's doing well and merging with Discovery which will capture more subs.

Any news outlet is reporting the same thing.. Disney shares are down 10% this year. Netflix up over 30% ... Shareholders want a hit.

Disney is competing with stream services. Many people said "Netflix dead now" when Disney+ dropped and we see that's not the case at all..

Those people were FOOLS. Netflix has so much variety of content that anyone can find something worthwhile to watch. If you have a VPN, you can change your country and watch stuff not available in the US.

dont worry, they got a whole slate of marvel mid lined up for y'all even apple tv got more hits than Disney+

and they didnt merge Hulu and disney because Hulu has a shyt ton of Mature content they didnt want under the disney umbrella. Had they just dumped all that Pg13 and under stuff on hulu, that would've been the move, but when disney+ was first conceived, Disney didn't own a majority stake in hulu. probably figured fk it we'll double dip with subs
