This nikka never ceases to amaze me. I ain't no size king like cokeboi but shyt at least look like you can whip the casual watcher's ass. Yea Punk is great on the mic but really what else does he bring. HE DOESN'T DRAW end of story. Back in the attitude era this nikka would be on sum jason sensation status and he trying to come at Rock sideways??? c'mon cuz. that dude needs to get on a bowflex and stop trippin.

Cm punk = employs the most authentic work based striking psychology and workrate in the entire wrasslin world, though.
Plus, who gives a fukk if he does not look like someone you fear.

When cm punk wrassles,...
His striking ability and mind to put together authentic looking psychology based striking based on an mma template has no peer.
Which means, inring he looks like he is kicking more ass than any one else in the industry.

Punk, was the first guy in the wwe to elevate and adapt the shoot/mma style striking based workrate in the promotion.
To actually aid and up the low quality ME smash mouth style into something that every grappler in the E could build towards and look authentic.
Meaning, he was the first dude to make it look like a real ass fight was going on.
You really do not have to suspend belief when punk is on offense, and his selling almost has no real peer either.

I feel where u coming from. I actually peeped how Punk employs the MMA style in his matches and i can somewhat applaud it. I jus was never really a fan of the shoot style being in wrestling and in my opinion Punk uses it in a sloppy way. And as much as we realize the big body obsession is superficial (and borderline homo) its essential to being a draw(smallest viable headliners were like HBK, Bret, Owen, Angle etc. and them bois went at least 230). And as good as he is on the mic (buddy's mic work against Rock and HHH was :krs: status) I don't think casual fans are trying to see a 6'0 180lbs on a good day superstar in no wrestling show. Now I stopped watching by the time he came in so I def need to peep more matches from him before I can accurately judge. At this point he's a an above average wrestler wit a good mouthpiece , he busted his ass from the indies and made it to the big leagues. But best in the world I jus can't get wit it
