I can honestly say that I was more excited for Punk/Cena at MITB than Cena/Rock at mania

Every wrestler should think they deserve being the mainevent or why the fukk would they bother being out there to begin with?
honestly all the top tier guys should be part timers...
it would elevate the mid card and make it seem special when the top guys showed up..
oversaturation combined with wackness because of lack of ideas is what kills a movement...ask g-unit...
in wcw, hogan would barely ever wrestle..and if he did it was to close the show...every time. that helped elevate hogan and the nwo..and elevated the midcard guys like jericho/benoit/malenko/juvy/booker while he was there etc because they had time to showcase their talent and develop storylines..while now in the E..they have to reserve basically a half hour at least to Cena every night regardless...and its resulted in most people being sick of his garbage..
note- cena is bad anyway...but seeing him doing the same shyt all the time makes it worse...unless its supposed to be that way

no match had more organically interesting build up then that match in several years. The outcome was not predictable, the match delivered, the crowd was one of the hottest live crowds the wwe has had for a pay per view in recent memory with an atmosphere that was chaotic like ONS when RVD beat cena. And before you start over compare shyt like you like to do like
"WHAT? Shelton Benjamin at a 06 house show vs Blandy would have KILLED their reactions. AJ and slimey Kelly Kelly could out pop cm HEEL ad Cena"
cause, o, nothing besides MAYBE Brock Vs Cena last year has had a build up ad promotion that was that good. Before someone says rock vs cena, that was no where near as good as CM Punk vs Cena
that match felt like what every main event should feel like. a Good, simple story, good emotion, logical reasons for actions, no swerves just because, valuing both men if either won or lost, and the execution. It wasn't perfect but it was the closests to a big fight feel when it comes to wwe matches

Once again, for build up, no match had as good of a build up as cena vs punk at mitb. I agree with you o the aspect that they dropped the ball after it. But you notice you are trying to compare a return of a wrestler to the build up to a match when the build up is all i said. CM Punk VS Cena at mitb was at a level of interest that could have been made to last longer and even cause a even bigger impact but wwe dropped the ball, that still doesn't mean it wasn't one of the perfect storms of build ups in years. MITB Cena vs Punk felt like Hall and Nash vs WCW at bash at the beach except wcw took that angle and made a fortune and wwe threw their cards in too early

How can he? Dwayne and Brock are stepping into his limelight when they didn't have any old timers trying to step in theirs when it was their time. At least Brock does the job when he's around. Dwayne on the other hand has the title, doesn't show up on RAW and has arguably the worst main event WM feud in a long time.

I don't get why people don't understand these wrestlers complaints . You have guys ziggler , Ryder kofi etc begging to be used correctly and wwe is like meh well pass . Ryder got himself over and wwe decided to be like fukk it we are burying you 
I'd be pissed too . Wwe couldn't bother to use the time before mania to really build up feuds instead they want recaps and fukkery 
they don't want to create stars organically no they want everyone to suddenly be the rock but that's impossible same way no one will ever be Jordan .
He says that he's there for the whole 9 (true) while others are not and make as much if not more than him (also true) but it motivates him to work even harder to be able to get that same deal.
