People also forget that even with Trips making nice - the McMahons are not in charge anymore. If the parent company that owns them decide they want CM Punk, they are all employees and have to do what they are told...

From how they run UFC, the days of them paying millions for people that’s not in the main event are over. See Edge

But when you got a 1,000 thugs on the payroll doing the dirt for you, you can hide under your bed all day and night...

I need Tony to buy the 90210 theme and have the Dynamite intro to that one time

CM Punk’s time with AEW seems to have been full of controversy and confrontations, as another incident has been confirmed to me that took place during his time with the company.

It has been a tumultuous week regarding CM Punk. Last weekend at AEW All In, Punk was involved in yet another backstage altercation. However, this one would be different than those in the past in various ways. Namely, Punk not only fought with Jack Perry, he also reportedly lunged at AEW president Tony Khan while furiously quitting the company.

These events would leave Khan no other choice but to fire the Chicago native with cause, despite Punk’s drawing power and status as the companies “real world’s champion”. Punk has yet to comment on the matter, but there is yet another story to tell regarding Punk’s attitude towards others backstage during his run with the promotion.

Punk has had an intense history of backstage drama in the promotion, with the AEW All Out Brawl perhaps being the most infamous incident in All Elite Wrestling’s short history and more recently, Punk has been reported to have had issues with several AEW stars backstage.

Regal made his All Elite Wrestling debut at AEW Revolution 2022 to an incredible ovation, working with the company through till the end of the year and forming the Blackpool Combat Club, one of AEW’s strongest stables to this day. On that same night, Punk defeated MJF in a dog collar match, starting his charge towards the AEW World Title in the summer of last year.

Regal’s arrival in All Elite Wrestling was an incredibly substantial one for the promotion, as his experience and incredible wealth of knowledge was welcomed with open arms by the AEW roster. Well… most of them.

Multiple sources have confirmed to me details about an incident that took place between CM Punk and William Regal, which took place when Regal made his AEW debut. In the altercation between the two men, Punk refused to shake Regal’s hand, and would then get in the legends face, telling him that he did not like him, he did not trust him and that Regal was a “stooge for Triple H.”

Towards the end of 2022, Regal would be let out of his contract with AEW early by Tony Khan, and William would return to WWE following this, as Regal cited a desire to work with his son.

Punk made his AEW debut back in 2021 after seven years away from the industry, and of course was no stranger to controversy throughout his All Elite Wrestling run, as noted previously.

With Regal returning to WWE to once again serve a backstage role, this could potentially play into the chances of a CM Punk return to the company following his AEW termination.

We will keep you updated if we hear any more news involving CM Punk, or William Regal.

So many stories about to come out from both sides. I’m ready for all the fukkery :blessed:

I think he was so desperate to turn the heat into a match and he didnt have patience and paranoia over being a draw stuck on Saturdays that he may exasperated everything and the travel on the day hiked but still.

They gave him his own show to avoid all the ppl he hates...he still was kicking ppl out and the first crossover between Rampage, Dynamite and Collusion, he gets in a huge fight.

Dude needs help.

Even though I think the Elite acted like hoes too you gotta be smarter. I know he has a chip on his shoulder and old school but common sense tells you there's more tatical ways to handle things.

Ultimately even if the feud happened he would have still found something to bytch about. Either the finish of the match or something the Elite would have said in a promo. He woulda got all pissy and threatened to quit. Phil is the type of dude who walks around looking for shyt to get pissed off about. We talking about a dude who threw away a 20 year friendship because Colt Cabana went out for pizza with Zayn and Steen :mjlol: Buddy is unhinged and this was gonna end badly no matter what.
