The most interesting thing to me here is that Jermaine says he changed his skin..
Yet he said on national tv that he had a skin condition so had to do it.

Prior to 1984's "VICTORY TOUR" ....the infamous touring and talent super agent Norby Walters wanted in on the 1981 jackson's Triumph tour..
so use to having his way since he was considered the man who had his way at MCA RECORDS representing everyone from Eric B and Rakim to PATTI LABELLE and STEELY DAN ...he usually "got what he wanted"//
but he didn't do it diplomaticaly according to a federal indictment handed down years later in 1988 how Norby Walters employed his "muscle" Micheal Franceze of the COLUMBO FAMILY to "intimidate" the Jackson's manager at the time into handing over booking privileges to Walters, the same way he "convinced" other artists such as Dionne Warwick and the numerous college athletes he extorted following thier signing to pro teams:

The indictment further states that in 1981, Walters enlisted Franzese to intimidate the manager of the Jackson 5 into giving Walters the booking contract for the group's tour that year. Walters never did get the contract. Although Franzese has been accused of having had at least one enemy beaten, he says he never threatened anyone on behalf of Walters or Bloom. If someone invoked his name to accomplish the same thing. Franzese says, he can't help it.
The FBI investigation began in March 1987, shortly after a rival sports agent in Illinois, who had signed athletes previously under contract to Walters and Bloom, was beaten and slashed in her office by a masked assailant. After not being able to land the 81 "Triumph" tour, Norby Walters refused to miss out on this "meal" (the jacksons) particularly when the Jacksons were preparing to start what was considered at the time the biggest pop music tour of all time...the 1984 Victory Tour.
The Jacksons didn't forget Walter's previous aggressive attempt, so they fought "fire with fire" when Michael Jackson hired Frank Dileo whom happened to be a former keyperson from Epic Records the home of the jacksons as his manager and also tour manager...
It didn't hurt either that Frank was a Mob affiliate as well....a good friend of Joe Isrgo of the GAMBIONO Family.

Still the VICTORY money was just too much for the Columbo family to pass up...they wanted in....Frank Dileo who wasn't a made man but had the respect of all 5 mafia families found a suitable "role" for the Columbo family as long as it didn't have Norby Walters or Michael Franceze and his goons dealing directly with the Jacksons...so as a result Irving Azoff the chariman of MCA records and associate of Walters and Franceze , was made "tour consultant"
Don't think it was some patsy little ghost job....it came with the benifit of Azoff being director of merchandising which allowed the Columbo family to eat well off of many of the products i.e (tshirts, items) associated witht the tour.
Azoff if you recall is the "poison dwarf" who help start ticketmaster and is one of the OG's of LIVE NATION.

so Al Sharpton tries to PLAY the role of advocate for the black promoters and threatens to have boycotts of the tour in all the major cities it hits......

Upon hearing of this conflict Dileo ever the diplomat and not wanting to bring anymore negative press to the tour, sat down with Sharpton , despite the fact that no deal was giving to black promtoers to do business with the tour..Al Sharpton was giving the job of "Community Relations Director"........
So basically the VICTORY TOUR was one big ass meal that EREBODY WANTED A PIECE OF....
and it validates what MICHAEL JACKSON states IT DON'T MATTER IF YOU BLACK OR WHITE...
