Pass me the rock nikka
It is...Ok
but dude's implying it's better than Wu Forever, and on top of that seems to have a terrible cough.

Wrong smiley breh. Use this one to express frustration
I can't do this anymore...
Am I missing something Return shows Rza being the genius that he is to make an album to fit ODB like a glove is unthinkable yet he did it at the highest level. Its really an amazing feat and album.
36 yes
for aeom i said i voted for that because of mainly influence. by that standard wu forever should've also been a classic but in the end i voted no
return to 36 is very good but no, i'd say its a cult classic but not quite up there
on a side note i would've loved to hear a full length odb and busta album in 95/96, that wouldve been interesting
in the pac thread i said aeom only got my classic vote because of the stans. if i applied that to wu forever then its also a classic. the quality of music on wu forever is also better imo. near flawlessI'm so confused

but im feeling strict today. we still got a lot more artists to cover and i cant give out classic status like its free
Anyone tell me why Return to 36 isn't classic?
Honestly because I wish those beats went to Meth or someone else. Hell, even if it was an actual Wu album.
my favorite track on there is probably Snakes. RZA bodying that sped soul sample sound
aight you right breh, im changing my vote, wu forever classic it is
You gotta be consistent breh. You deep in the game and got the rules missing
Your right about the lyrics. Forever was lyrical overload. Ghost had one of the GOAT verses on Impossiblenot even lol because we already done Pac and AEOM got classic status that's why, this is just coincidence
and I don't wanna argue about this, but obviously I disagree, with the exception of influence which I concede AEOM has more
Tbh if we took the best Forever tracks, it's probably a better album than 36
It's just so much more complete, but you're right it is more about perception and the step down in rawness from 36. That whole gritty aesthetic disappeared and gave way to a more polished outlook
But nobody can deny the rhymes are 10000000 times better on Forever. Like the peak of rap as an art form. Impeccable song writing and lyricism and all the Wu members had a substantial say, unlike U-God and MK getting close to nothing on 36.
Wu Forever was a slow burner for me, but damn when it clicked, IT CLICKED. Masterpiece.
