and I don't wanna argue about this, but obviously I disagree, with the exception of influence which I concede AEOM has more

AEOM got there first.
Forever was considered a step down from 36
It marked when Wu lost the streets.
To me - the holy trinity of double albums is AEOM, LAD and WTF - that debate over which is the best will never end - they are all classics to me.
Quality is high throughout...a number of non-singles still ring bells.
Truimph is still an all-time classic Wu single

Tbh if we took the best Forever tracks, it's probably a better album than 36

It's just so much more complete, but you're right it is more about perception and the step down in rawness from 36. That whole gritty aesthetic disappeared and gave way to a more polished outlook

But nobody can deny the rhymes are 10000000 times better on Forever. Like the peak of rap as an art form. Impeccable song writing and lyricism and all the Wu members had a substantial say, unlike U-God and MK getting close to nothing on 36.

Wu Forever was a slow burner for me, but damn when it clicked, IT CLICKED. Masterpiece.

Let's say you don't like dipset, fine. We can disagree on taste. But taste aside, and using a measurable metric, DI is clearly the best executed double album of all rap double albums because no dipset fan ever bemoans that it wasn't a single disk. To a fan, its filler free

Whether one is better than the other has no bearing on whehter WTF is a classic

sure it has more 'classic songs' but Wu Forever has equally as many high quality tracks, even sleeper tracks like Deadly Melody or The City or As High as Wu-Tang Get etc.
