It’s been the opposite. This is the only team that LA has faced that nobody is respecting. Even the Bron haters are preemptively calling this title a asterisk, because they don’t think Miami is enough of a challenge. First it was
“Miami will be a tough out against Indy, but their ceiling is round two”
Then it was:
“Giannis is the MVP. Miami will be a tough out, but Milwaukee got this. Who’s gonna guard Giannis?”
Then it was:
“Boston has too many wings. They should make quick work of Miami. Celtics in 5.”
Even then, Miami has been getting disrespected since going up 3-1 on Boston when it was apparent the series was over.

Picked Heat in 6. Lakers have better top end talent and solid 1 on 1 defenders but the Heat offense exposes the biggest flaw I see with the Lakers which is team defense. I have seen them struggle with ball movement, smart close outs and attention to details at points this year. The Heat seem to have a recipe of non stationery shooters, side to side ball movement and defensive fundamentals that give them the edge for me in this series.
