Every fukking PF/Center on the Lakers COMBINED only managed 5 rebounds total. That has to be an all-time NBA postseason record, there's no way that has ever happened before in the history of the league.

And all five of those bigs: 1 freaking offensive board the entire game. TOTAL

How does that even happen?






Y'all gotta be just parody accounts at this point.

Name one time in NBA history where a player went 30-10-11 on 14-23 shooting with 2 blocks and 2 steals and was blamed for the loss.

5-7 for 11 points in the fourth including a three, 2 assists, 2 boards, a steal and a block.

+2 in a game his team lost by 8....so they were -10 in the 10 minutes he was on the bench.

Lebron gets those numbers in his sleep. That’s a testament to his talent and IQ. His 4th quarter was 4 leak out dunks and a 3. He missed a pull up mid range that would’ve put them down 1 or 3, I can’t remember. Plus-Minus can be misleading.

I know he’s 35, but he clearly ran out of gas on the comeback and gave the Nuggets more life in this series.

Breh, a "leak out dunk" is when a player slips downcourt anticipating a missed shot and gets ahead of the defense before the rebound comes down. LBJ wasn't doing that at all in the 4th.

8:30: LeBron gets the rebound and throws a long pass that leads to a 2-on-1 fast break that cuts the lead to 12.
8:23: Rondo gets a steal, LeBron outruns everyone and scores easy on the fast break to cut the lead to 10.
7:39: LeBron sets AD up with the assist on a short jumper that cuts the lead to 8.
7:13: Rondo gets a steal, LeBron beats everyone downcourt for another dunk to cut the lead to 6.
6:46: LeBron steals a pass from Jokic
6:36: In the halfcourt offense, LeBron cuts to the rim and takes a pass from Caruso for a lay-in to cut the lead to 4.
6:06: After another Rondo steal, LeBron sets up Kuzma for a lay-up which he misses but draws the foul, hitting a free throw that cuts the lead to 3.
5:26: In the halfcourt offense, LeBron beat Jokic off the dribble on an isolation and scored another lay-in to cut the lead back to 3.
4:46: LeBron blocks Millsap's lay-in to keep the game within 3

Later in basically garbage time he drove to the hole to cut the lead to 8

4 out of LeBron's 6 buckets in the quarter were in the halfcourt offense. And both of his fast-break buckets were off of steals, not leaking out on rebounds. It's not a "leak out dunk" if you just plain react faster to a steal and beat everyone else down court.

LBJ had 10 huge plays when they cut the lead from 17 to 3. Of course he was gassed.

And he was at 17-8-9 on 8-15 shooting going into the 4th so it wasn't like he'd been playing bad before. Rebounds and Grant's career game killed the Lakers.

I have no idea why anyone is under rating what this nuggets team is capable of after watching their last two series

It’s unfair to them after two 3-1 comebacks, especially one against the ‘vaunted’ Clippers. Even more unfair because they are a crazy, even unlikely, buzzer beater away from being up 2-1 in this series.

even so, I can’t fully invest in them and this series. the most likely outcome is they get rolled in game 4 and lose in either 5 or 6 games.

that being said they will probably do the opposite again ha, but even if they were to go out in 5, they’ve had a great season and a lot to be proud of and build off of. Jokic has established himself as a franchise level piece and Murray has somehow lived up to his contract and could now potentially be a 25 ppg player moving forward. Prior to playoffs Murray was widely considered a bit over paid at max level and not a star piece. He’s somehow changed that narrative in two months, which is pretty remarkable tbh. He just needs to carry this to a full season now and be that guy. Honestly seems like he can in this NBA environment that favors space and shooting. He has an arsenal he can score off of. And has a guy in Jokic that not only demands attention but also can play make at a high level. Honestly imagine guys like Booker, Beal, Lavine working off of Jokic. It’s still hard for me to to put Murray over these SGs but he deserves some serious praise for doing this in the playoffs. He elevated his status more than any player in the bubble.

And they've been even worse in the playoffs, averaging just 17 free throws/game against the Jazz and 21 free throws/game against the Clippers. Huh? Thats the point im making to idiots. The results are what they are at the moment.
Even in that game, the Lakers held the lead for most of the game as a matter of fact. AD reversed the lucky tip in by Joker or the ball interference by MJP and the buzzer beater was made well within the time allocated for playing.
