Yea I got you....but if Civil War hits between MAGA type forces vs non-MAGA, "Dems" aren't gonna be wondering which side they're gonna choose cause they don't consider themselves "liberal".

I'd see TX being its own solo thing or getting with southern states East of it. Cali I could see being its own thing or Cali + NY and some Midwest State being on some Death Row East + West + Center lol

It's obvious that the WF are the libs and the Loyalists, New People's Alliance (North), and Florida Alliance are conservatives are the conservatives. Just look at how they're uniforms are plus the racial makeup of the forces.

It's not as undefined as some of yall are trying to make it seem. They just never outright say it on the nose. The casting is not by accident. Meth Damon's glasses weren't red for no reason.
I think he represented how every war will have pockets of psychopaths who make their own rules and lose all humanity. He probably wasn't either side...he just judge jury and executioner decided if you were worth killing or living depending on what you were doing, where you were from, and if you were an American by his unilateral definition. He even called Florida "Central America". He wasn't WF or anything...he was just a loose canon.

What would be the logistical/strategic benefit of this besides similar ideologies? :patrice:

all of this stuff is illogical breh lol but it is more logical than Cali and TX clicking up. All we have to base on anything is real world politics since the film didn't touch politics of their universe.

I believe he was definitely with the Offerman side. His beliefs correlate with the Offerman speeches. Offerman is obviously a representation of Trump. That whole side was nothing but racist, xenophobic yt people as well. I'm gonna stay convinced of this till strongly proven otherwise. :birdman:

Technically brilliant and relentless. Some of the war images still linger on in my head days after my viewing. Dunst captures the hardened weariness of a war photographer brilliantly. I lean more into thinking this was a tremendous experience rather than a great movie but its positives are worthy of being seen on the big screen.

Its not what the movie is about, but I think many are missing the industry and political links between Tx and Cali. The current conservative movement in Tx is not borne of traditionally Texan politics, and you see lots of friction at the state level. The suburban set rules Texas right now and has flat ignored rural conservative interests. Cant ignore the number of company and citizen relocations to mostly suburban Texas. To make that link someone paying attention to the true underbelly

This was a huge miscalculation for me. Everything else was pretty cool but no way the President is there when he’s losing the war
Dude was hiding under his desk the whole time? There's an escape hatch from the bunker too I believe but it's just a movie who knows.

Why wasn't the president in his bunker?

There was a scene at the start of the 3rd act where the Western Force were in the tunnels underneath that part of DC....and then they went up to roof to set up the snipers...

I thought they was finna talk about it..but naw.
