CIVIL WAR 2 preparedness thread… just in case, let’s discuss

I was thinking about making a thread with a similar premise, but I'm not trying to get put on a watch list. So I'll just phrase this in the vein of preparedness and survivalism.

It won't be a Civil War in the way we think of Civil wars. Not saying that each side couldn't mobilize a sizable faction, but the military even if they were for/against either side would come through and squash it. Proud Boys aren't pulling up somewhere 4,000 strong for instance to take control of some shyt. The more likelihood would be the military is already co-opted and aligned to some kind of event, which I really wouldn't recommend going against.

I think we need to put together a list of fire starting events.

• Political assassinations/attempts
• Mass unemployment events
• Police indiscretion/execution
• Institutional collapse
• Environmental disasters
• Military co-opt

Minimum supplies/activities needed to survive/shelter in place for periods of time. Most people should have at least 14 days worth of supplies in my opinion. We're most likely not going to see a Civil War, but there might be attacks on infrastructure or a bad weather event that could be Katrina part 2.

• 3 days
• 7 days
• 14 days
• 28 days
• 72 days
• Indefinitely

Must have supplies over the same time period

• First aid kit
• Bug out bag (contents)
• Food sources/kits
• Protection (I actually recommend don't go overkill, this may make you more of a target) Have something, but you don't need a whole armory. I prefer, quick, light and concealed. Most people aren't looking to kill, even these militias aren't trying to do that upfront, but will easily do it or find a convenient excuse the more direct potential you have to oppose them.

Procedures to shelter in place

• A big one most people would miss...fill your bath tubs/sinks with water.
• Depending on the circumstance, I would actually advocate turning your cellphone off or destroying your cellphone.

Gathering spots/safe zones

• Places to shelter in place with a group
• Where to go if your region becomes unoccupiable

I actually have a much more elaborate scheme for myself, just don't know how far we going with this.

I used to be big on survival and preparation but living through a civil war would be pure hell, especially in a country with more guns than people. there is nothing that can protect you and your family 100% in a country full of guns, right wing militias, and crazy people.

My goal isn’t arguing with people who think it’s not happening. It’s to brainstorm with like minded people just in case we have to face a reality most of us are not prepared for.

Honestly the best bet is to be lucky, and not be in the streets when shyt pop off. If you can hunker down somewhere, you might be able to survive most of it. I know there are dudes that got 1000s of rounds of .223, vests, masks, years of food stocked but can easily be a lick if caught off guard outside when shyt pop off. Just luck fr

Truth be told if you have no direct social network, you're kinda assed out as is.

Through that's the shyt that worries me is a mfer with all the gadgets and toys trying to turn into a warlord and enforce their will on people.

A Civl war will not happen until capitalism starts to victimize the average white male.

Despite what "class first" "class reductionist" try to tell you the average white person is doing fine in terms of income, wealth, and general economic mobility.

But it is, that's part of the reason white people are starting to act up "visibly" anyway. That's why they been bytching about immigrants, coal mining, DEI, bringing manufacturing "home" etc...because their average standard of living is going down for the last 40 years.

I don't think a civil war is possible until our "distractions" go away, and a clear regional line in the sand can be drawn. My personal trigger point would be either another economic depression occurs or another pandemic occurs and similar restrictions were put in place. I could see a Texas or a Florida with a clear border being able to separate causing a conflict.

Until then, we'll probably have goofies increase the shyt they're already doing; mass shootings, assassination attempts, attacks on infrastructure, but scattered and isolated.

Those same generals, or high ranking military will stake claim to certain areas, forming new country states..

This will cause the complete collapse of Canada's economy, and some of those rogue generals will realize that there are almost unlimited resources and untapped land here. Certain parts of Canada will get annexed into those new states.

Once thats done it will be absolute chaos all over the world.

Don’t give your whole plan away, I’m not… but I agree with not going overboard on arming yourself and filling up sinks and tubs with water.
