I have no idea how county lines or whatever in Atlanta work. So I don’t know if this law is just for within city limits or whatever. You can be in Atlanta then 15min drive later you in college park. Last time I went, I stayed in an “atl” Airbnb shyt was like 15mins our from the city and not technically Atlanta.

Anywhere that’s not NYC is confusing as fukk to me.

Imagine if you needed a permit to make music. You could argue that Atlanta's trap music scene is harmful and promotes violence and debauchery (like strip clubs) and if you perform or make "trap music" you will need a permit.

Im not a lawyer, but I feel like this could be a 1st Amendment violation case.

It doesn’t. Unless the club buys the permits for those workers, no worker will choose to work at a place where they have to pay before they can get paid. So inevitably you have a place that won’t be able to function and will close, which is what the City wants anyway

Well....the club can just put the permit cost in the work contract. Just have the cost of the permit come out of the first couple of weeks of making money.
