This is a History Channel movie, breh. The most "violent" scene involves someone being pushed down a flight of stairs... by accident.Compare it to saving private ryan in terms of violence
The Prestige is on Netflix nowI forgot about The Prestige. Haven't seen that in like 10 years, but I remember it was dope. Might have to revisit that one. Memento I don't think I finished and never cared to rewatch.

ExactlyIf you are looking for violent porn, this isn't that type of film. If you want a classic Hitchcockian unnerving tension and suspense... and pure fear of the unknown coming...this is the very film. This movie is very ANTI-Saving Private Ryan. Where Saving Private Ryan focuses mainly on the morals of humanity, this focuses on the actual event from 1st perspective and what these men had to endure just to survive.
Stop comparing this to Hitchcock. Hitchcock was the master of suspense who knew how to built it like no other. Nolan is the master of filming scenes with no tension but a lot of Really! Loud! Sound! Effects! to substitute and an overly present Hans Zimmer soundtrack that rarely gels with what actually happens on screen but is also Very! Very! Of course, seeing how much impact my advance AoU review had on the Coli (and in fact still has to this day) I wouldn't want to disappoint my fanbase who await my educated opinion with gleeful anticipation. You were sure eager to see it being first and staying all up in this thread ya hoe
I'm seeing more comparisons to Clozout ala Wages of Fear than I am for Hitchcock.Stop comparing this to Hitchcock. Hitchcock was the master of suspense who knew how to built it like no other.
