I know how real estate works, and I'm saying claims of "reduced property value" are always overblown.

Will his graffiti affect some potential buyers? Yes.

Will his graffiti prevent other home owners from getting full value for their homes? NO

Some buyers might not like plain looking vanilla neighborhoods, so you could argue that all white homes reduce property value as well.

At the end of the day the "property value" argument is just a way to force people to conform. It is his home and his graffiti doesn't affect anyone else's home, any more than their decorations affect his

Did you ever think that people just don't like graffiti? Again, there are rules because people can't seem to function properly without them. Graffiti will always have a negative impact on property values..especially in high end neighbourhoods. If that nikka likes that kinda shyt, get a loft in the city and go wild.

Are u aware that thre are many neighborhoods and communities that have to have a certain consistent "theme" or appearance? Everything from the colors of the homes to the landscaping, trees etc are all regulated.

I'm conflicted......

A part of me is like "It's HIS fukkin' home :what:".......

But then another part of me is like "This dude did it just to be an a$$hole :snoop:"

And the property value argument IS a legit one; too bad a lot of nikkas are too broke to understand it :lolbron:

And OF COURSE you have the militants who are acting like this is some racism shyt :snoop:......did the neighbors complain about how his home looked BEFORE he put up the cracked-out Pac-man ghosts? I doubt it, and I'm sure he was still black then, so there goes that theory :rudy:

A few Floors Down from the Daily Grind
For a quick dose of reality for some of the younger posters on here...

I bought a house, and the old people who maintained a meticulous house across the street from me fell ill.

Then their oldest, white trash daughter moved in to 'help out.

Fast forward 2 years and one was dead, the other in perpetual dementia and the daughter had her homeless convict biker boyfriend, his 30 year old jobless son and their aggressive pit bull living there, cutting down trees, parking trailers and dead cars all over the property and fukking up the ENTIRE neighborhood.

My house value fukking DROPPED because of the cesspool across the street.

I get the whole 'his house, he can do what he wants' but there is a point when the shyt you do to your property affects the property of people around you, and that shyts straight selfish.

You can't assume some of those neighbors didn't work their asses off to make enough money to move into that neighborhood. It's called consideration.

Yeah I understand that. And what I'm saying is that it has less to do with "property value", and more to do with the fact that people like to impose their own will on others. I could understand keeping the grass cut and the yard clean, but forcing people to use the colors/decorations you see fit is just some selfish entitlement stuff that people get away with cause they have a lot of money.

I see your point but when you live in one of those ritzy ass Southern Cal neighborhoods, it becomes a lot harder for property values to drop

My thing is...fukk the system and buck the system at every possible juncture....the same system and guidelines that are in place which applies to hoa and property value is the same system which forecloses on sweet elderly old ladies and struggling families. ..is the same system that prefers these people be homeless and have empty azz houses

...so as far as im concerned....

Burn babylon burn....fukk the system
Rage against the machine

Yes, and some people like graffiti. What if someone now wants to buy his home, but they feel like his neighbors houses are too boring? Should he be able to force them to graffiti their homes?

Some dumbass nikkas in here saying he did it just to be an a$$hole so i guess when he painted the inside of his and Sean Kingston home he was being an a$$hole too, right? The man is an artist and he love art, he should be able to express his artistry.

Dumbass white people saying it's scaring the children as if them 2 second glance of his house is competing with them 30 minute shows where they show monsters on Cartoon Network, Disney Channel and Nick.

Don't get mad at him because he has an artistic and creative mind. If that's what makes him happy and feel good.....what's the problem?? Boring, close minded, non-creative fukkers.
