not only that, but the U.S has to be very careful where it targets since it has neighbors nearby. Fallout would be huge and would poison everyone in the region. The chinese could lose the entire population of the U.S and STILL have more people than America. They can also live in harsher conditions, no electricity, no running water, heck this is something many chinese had to go through just 2 decades ago. America has NEVER had to go through harsh times. It would be Katrina times 100, and with armed militia roaming around. There is no win win, just lose lose. The economy of the U.S crashing would pretty much put the entire world on pause. America has WAY more to lose than China (obviously).

This isn't a case of, we launch and go unharmed, its a case of america launches and everyone gets fukked up, and america loses it's superpower status overnight, while bringing in Russia retaliation and pretty much fukking up the whole planet.

The U.S would back down it's aggressive stance if China had it's version of Bay of Pigs. Heck they back down from N.K. NK be launching missiles over japanese bases and we do nothing.

While that's true, I don't really think that is relevant. Total annihilation wouldn't happen...

The only scenario/s I can think of that would cause the United States and China to get into any sort of altercation, would be over China trying to take back Taiwan, or Japan and China finally getting it on. But I don't really see direct involvement with the Japan/China issue unless it escalates beyond a limited engagement. Taiwan is iffy though but I doubt it would end in nuclear exchange unless the Chinese mainland was under threat of invasion or if China goes firing off a few of those fugazi carrier killing missiles. I think that they are similar to an ICBM when launched so that would be a bad thing to do during a conflict. But outside of that I don't see anything popping off.

A nuclear strike from America to anyone else or from anyone else to America results in the end of the human race as we know it.

If China attacked America, then Britain, France, India, Israel...all those countries that are considered our allies would attack China as well, and then of course America has it's own arsenal.

Likewise if we attacked the Chinese, Russia would let loose a host of nuclear annihilation on the US, which would in turn result in Americas allies attacking oth Russia and China as well.

China has it's own issues to worry about mainly pollution, and from what I understand, a large housing bubble that is being created by the government apparently building straight up ghost cities filled with condos and apartments that no one lives in.

No, it isn't. Not even close. Your discussion about China being the retaliator was with someone else. Your conversation with me was with China as the initiator using a MAD-scenario that only exists in animé and Hollywood, but we're not the Zentraedi. China has no land-based ballistic nuclear missiles capable of reaching the US except the DF-4 & JL2. The closest they'd get to us would be Guam.

Their technology isn't dependable and failed during testing in 2006 and every test thereafter. This isn't even debatable. The map is utter nonsense.​

They need more people and targets. With the targets they have on that map, there would be more civilian casualties than military infrastructure targets. Air and sea capability would be fractured but not out of commission. The US could still give China a war with 30% land/air capability. There are some very important targets that would need to be eliminated before someone could have a fighting chance.

It would take a collective effort from multiple countries. No one country has the resources to beat the US in a straight up mano y mano war...... yet. I'm not saying this with blind patriotism either.
