the chinese military are not on the offense. How an american can think the chinese would attack first is simply mind boggling. They are defensive in case the U.S (who are war mongers that are in THEIR SEA) decides to get fresh. You don't want to wake up the red dragon, keep your hands in your pockets. That is the message.

that's why I find it out of control we're even having this discussion. people really thinking one country will lick the other without the other retaliating. there are no winners in a nuclear war thats why even NK can do whatever it wants with impunity. One nuke lands on China and Russia jumps in immediately and no one has better missiles than the Russians (who have missiles that can change flight upon re-entry and dump multiple war heads at once). It would be mayhem because Europe would then feel the need to jump in, it wouldn't be some battle field type shyt, it would literally be the end of the world, thus the reason no one will try it. The chinese are just letting the U.S know...."we got them thangs it aint one sided" but alas we have pundits here thinking it is.

LOL, Land-to-Air-to-Land attack would ONLY come from the Arctic Circle and/or Bering Strait. Completely predictable and defended against. They'd have to come by sea using their Navy to move tactical, long-range weapons/aircraft close enough that if they were to use them, there'd be little time for us to mount a response or defense. That's why it'd be stupid to launch Land-based warheads at us. It'd take too long for them to get here.​

It ain't patriotism, it's direct knowledge from those who dealt with this as their MOS.

I don't remember much because I was drinking myself into oblivion out of fear, but I remember that topic of conversation.​

That's not what I said. You stated they'd launch 30 warheads at once, I stated that wouldn't happen and then explained why they'd have to attack us by sea rather than by land. Nowhere did I state that they couldn't inflict any damage, they just wouldn't be able to do it in the way you're describing. Nukes are a weapon of 'last resort' (and EXTREMELY expensive) and their effects are too harmful and far-reaching to use in an attack that wouldn't be 100% assured of success with minimal collateral damage and environmental impact, not to mention the first Nation to do so would come under attack by every other Nation with nuclear capability out of fear of being next. If they attack the US, they seal their own fate. No Nation 'wins' a confrontation when nukes are involved. The whole world loses.​

that's practically what I said. and China wouldn't attack the U.S. They would only RETALIATE to a U.S nuclear attack. What I don't get with americans, is despite being the only country to ever use nukes and initiate wars based on lies, seem to think they're reactors instead of initiators. LOL. It's kind of like North Korea, they have nukes, why do you think that is? to attack a country with as much might as America or for defense? Most americans seem to think they'd just randomly lob nukes at them. You really have to leave U.S borders and see things from outside in to get a pretty good perspective on why countries like Iran and NK want nukes very badly esp after Iraq and Libya........

Why would China want to blow up America who provides pretty much 80% of jobs to them? I can think of many reasons however why America would want to attack China. Esp with the it's trade surplus and growing influence in the pacific. Very soon China will be the biggest economy in the world......a direct threat to American interest. China doesn't need to attack anyone, they're sailing along just fine, making lots of money with no conflict. I think you forget who the bully here is, and it's not China. Why americans act like victims is beyond me....
