They're literally using the same playbook America used. They're investing in building up the infrastructure of other countries while America is sanctioning those countries. They're focused on making education as widely accessible as possible and attracting Chinese expats who studied in the best universities in Europe and America back to China to be well paid professors. Meanwhile we've got enrollment rates plummeting. They're regulating their tech industries to make sure the focus is on producing innovative products. Our tech industry is busy making shyt people can't afford, and conning investors out of money with vaporware and bullshyt.

So this is what's going to happen:

China will continue to invest in its tech sector and focus on renewable energy. They will continue to reward innovation and education and they will use that knowledge and their manpower to build aircraft carriers, jets, missile defense systems, and expand their armory of nukes. They'll continue to test the digital infrastructure of the US and once--not if--once, they've figured out Quantum computing, they will use that shyt to break into and spy on our networks. They'll take whatever information they need and slip out undetected because they'll have superior espionage systems and technology. They'll pretend that they're behind when it comes to military technology when in reality they're actually ahead. America will test them in war, and they will clap back viciously to show that they cannot be touched. Anyone who thinks they aren't working on an iron-dome-like nuke shield is delusional.

These are people who have thousands of years of history and strategy to draw from. They have hundreds of Ls they took in history to study from and learn from. They are absolutely a threat, but they also know America is a threat to THEM and any non white country. America supported British aggression towards them. China can go to the Philippines, Vietnam and other countries in south east Asia and ask them "did we ever try to invade you? In all of your history, have we ever sent troops or supported dictators in your country? They can go to all of Africa and ask "have we ever tried to force you to give up your resources like the europeans did? Have we ever built military bases?" They can go all over the middle east and ask "have we ever called you part of an Axis of evil? Do we have military bases here? Have we ever voiced unconditional support for Israel?" And they will of course answer "no".

The biggest threat to world security is an irrational actor having access to nuclear weapons.
