Books no. But you can look at some DoD policy and documents. However I am sure there are recent books out there.
Most of it is based of assessments that China will be ready by 2027. There is a lot of open source material on that. Also look what DoD is doing in the Pacific Theater, look at how much we are investing in Guam. The creation of AUKUS. Look at what we are doing in Japan, we licensed them to make PAC 3 missiles and AAMRAM missiles as well as the F35. Japan just got their first "carriers" since WW2. They are not real Aircraft carriers but they can handle the VTOL F35B. We are significantly increasing our presence in the region as well as our cooperation.
