Need some balls like Papa Daley on this:
Football should be played in all weatherThis cap about cold weather football gotta stop, nikkas sounding like 60 year old white men. Football thrives in the sunbelt becuase, gasp, it ain’t cold. And no one wants to pay $100-2000 for tickets to sit in 7 degree weather. This ain’t 1980 when you could take a family to a game for fifty bucks. Lastly, let these teams go to the burbs, at this point every big city has more pressing issues and better things to do with land than having it occupied for games and with slabs of parking lots
Maybe, will the nfl add teams by the time the bears build they next stadiumthey wouldn’t even move a team there. Goodell wants to add a bunch of new franchises. They were talking about maxing up to 40 teams and keep expanding the schedule for games played lol
Why because of $$$$ dont let em fool you they got the money they want tax payers to foot the billnow you see why teams don't immediately rush to get domes @Jplaya2023
LA too, Inglewood is a 30 minute drive away on a good day. I know there were plans to build a downtown LA stadium in the mid 2000s, but never materialized.
Damn i though Inglewood was LA. Yeah this shyt crazy these owners rather not pay to play in the city but go to the surburb to get Tax breaks etc...
As a fan in jacksonville, fukk thatI’m not sure if I like the idea of them playin under a dome in chicago, weather elements is part of the game
Metra goes right there. Walk isn’t too bad, unless you’re old or out of shape. Obviously it’s not like the United Center where the bus literally stops right in front of the arena. Maybe a 5 min walk.they just throwing shyt against the walls cuz the bears trying to break their lease and leave the city.
furthermore, soldier field is owned by the park district. not the city. so they can't just build domes off GP.
on top of that, soldier field is still the 2nd smallest capacity stadium in the NFL. the dome won't change that.
also, soldier field is on the lakefront here, but trying to access it is inconvenient as hell because it's on a peninsula with one way on and one way off. and it's not easy to take public transportation to it, and it's a long walk from the train.
Is this real? The Bears have been threatening to move to Arlington Heights for that long?Need some balls like Papa Daley on this:
3. Dallas is 5th and they don't play in the actual city either.Damn Bears leaving Chicago shyt is crazy. You have 2 of 5 largest markets not playing in their actual city. NY and Chicago.
Inglewood IS LA. Anyone playing near the Forum is playing in Los Angeles
From the same city that hired a corrupt school superintendent to oversee the closure of over 50 schools mostly in predominately black areas because they "didn't have the money"
And hired a puppet head of the CHA to oversee the closure of the projects leading to skyrockets violence throughout the city and skyrocket rise in homelessness
But this same city seems to always have money to build up the tourist areas and the new districts and now they done surprisingly found more money for renovations to soldier field while the south and west sides get more poverty stricken and dilapidated. Smh
