What can some "leaders" that ain't in this city do for the city besides say some pretty words. The only thing that can stop this is heavier policing and enforcing the laws on the books instead of the lax sentencing that we currently have in the city.

Shyt just ain't Chicago, folks ALWAYS be going on about the Chi when Cleveland, Detroit, St.Louis,etc. has all types of chaos going on. I've known 5 dudes that have been killed THIS YEAR. I don't know how to stop the violence, I try to put effort in the youth because the folks I've had to read obituaries from range from 19 to 43.
We even have a damn IG page that reports and categorizes all the homicides and deaths in the city and its updated DAILY, sometimes multiple times a day and the population is about 390k
It's literally 100+ homicides every year, and I see folks talking about 20 homicides is crazy and I'm like
, that's like living in some Andy Griffith spot.
What really needs to happen is folks need to get black people in urban environments some mental healthcare, dudes walking around with SEVERE undiagnosed PTSD and other shyt.
