Nothing can be done. Poor black America is finished. It’s a wrap, the culmination of systemic racism that is now bearing the fruit of a centuries old harvest. W.E.B. Essentially those reparations would go to waste on Foreign cars that lose 80% value after driven off the lot, jewelery, etc.

For violence this stop you have to address the core issues, there's a lot of people who grow up with nothing and still turn out to be good people. Address the core issues which are education, single mothers, and proper role models.

People laugh when I can name numerous gang-bangers in Chicago who are children of nuclear family units. They're some of the most vicious because they're getting guidance from a father who gang bangs/use to and a mother who is supportive. Some of the most demonic "drillas" in Chicago come from loving homes.

Well part of it is that a lot of these folks put on for the bag. Not saying they ain't doing dirt but if they do or give off the image they do, they do it in order to further their "image" not because they are a product of their environment. Not talking about the specific case you're talking about but we do know it happens. The bad part is that, while those folks might not even be doing dirty and living square undercover, it only serves as reenforcement for people who really connect with the image. Not going to say the rap is to blame, as its just a classic case of art imitating life. If that wasn't the case, everywhere the media is consumed you'd see the same behaviors in real life for everyone who consumes it.
