Basically the gist of it.

But when you have the people who are supposed to be doing the building, being broken themselves and raising broken children, it makes the whole process harder.

:picard: I know Chicago is bout it but dayum :mjcry:
Some people are just a waste of time trying to save. If you dont get to these dudes at a young age(I'm talking 4 or 5 yrs old), and you let the streets get em, it's damn near a rap. I'm not exaggerating with that young of an age either.

nikkas on the coli can’t go a day without arguing/ threatening to fight/kill one another. But expect people growing up in environments deprived of resources to take the high road. :unimpressed:

Reperations is the only solution, and in regards to Chicago it’s always been a violent city dating back to the 20s, it’s just the culture there.

I honesty don't know because can you really stop anybody from killing somebody when they possessed with killing.
I think the nyc police state might stop alot of mindless innocent killings...because if new york gun laws was like chicagos is would be a change i guess...its always gonna be killing tho...this is America.....i would think national exposure of crates of guns and serial killers and organ harvesting would bring some light i guess....expose corruption yadayada....more job creation...more better parenting smh...but how does a kid from the poorest areas have a assualt rifle and 30 poppers..and the gang sh1t is not gang sh1t its just clicks of lost souls...i didnt listen to ogs..and chiefs are hypes or dead or doing life...nikkas dont even know lit...more exposure of white supremacy...im from the westside and I've never seen it look so hopeless...the drug dealers are drug users...it was always bad but didn't seem like when i was young...people really just wanna kill people..its mental illness and generational illness of poverty..plus the extreme homelessness...and honestly 75% of murders go unsolved...if i got a 25% chance of getting away with murder i wouldn't hesitate to kill...hell even now...plus they fear and anxiety of your own people...because everybody on edge and willing to kill..idk man

the problem is that, whenever i hear folks talk about "the crime problem in chicago" in 2019 it's pretty much a white supremacist talking point, insinuating chicago is a gang infested hell hole that needs to be expunged, when places like nashville and anchorage have higher rates of violent crime. and you won't get anywhere trying to play dog whistle politics when it comes to issues such as this.

op looking real funny in the light
Receipts.

And if they have high assaults or battery and shyt like that I don’t care, we know murder the lost of life forever is what really counts. I don’t know why y’all find the need to deflect and sugarcoat.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people are in custody after 13 people were shot including a 16-year-old boy Sunday morning inside and outside near a residence in Englewood on the South Side, Chicago police said.

According to police, around 12:35 a.m. officers were alerted by ShotSpotter technology of shots fired in the 5700 block of South May Street.

"I was awoken by the sound of, seemed like 4, 5, or 6 gunshots and it seemed pretty loud, so it seemed kind of close," Neighbor, Terrence Daniely said. "I didn't see any commotion when I looked out the window but then shortly after I heard the sounds of people screaming and running from a party on the street."

"It was just so many people out, so many cars on the street, and the police response was amazing, it seemed like there were 100 police officers running to the scene," Daniely said.

Chicago Police Chief of Patrol Fred Waller gave an update Sunday morning.

According to Waller, shots were initially fired inside a residence stemming from a dispute when people started to filter outside into the streets.

Once people were outside, police said a person who was inside of the residence also started shooting at people.

"This is an isolated incident that stemmed from inside that party and flowed onto the street," Waller said. "Shots were fired inside, everyone started to leave, and that's when shots were fired outside."

According to Waller, seven people were transported with gunshot wounds from the scene and six others transported themselves.

A 16-year-old boy was taken to an area hospital in critical condition but has since been stabilized, Waller said.

Four others are still in critical condition, police said. The victims were between 16 and 48-years-old.

Police confirmed two people are in custody and being questioned regarding the incident.

One suspect was arrested at the scene with a revolver, Waller said. An unidentified person who was shot during the altercation and initially transported to a hospital is also being questioned as a suspect, Waller said.

"One person was arrested at the scene with a revolver," Waller said. "Another person who was shot during the altercation was later identified as a person who may have also been firing a weapon."
