They continued a case pattern of fabricating and falsifying evidentiary information against Bill Cosby in furtherance of their efforts to defame and discredit. Which means that he wasn’t found guilty of any crime because there was no crime in the first place. If he wasn’t innocent then double jeopardy wouldn’t apply and the Judge would have merely dismissed the charges with or without prejudice; allowing the prosecutors to retry their case again or file new/additional charges.
