It's been on a monday for the longest tho, Including some of the BCS title games.
I agree, Saturday would be better, but the NCAA doesn't want any parts of being on the same day as an NFL playoff game(s).

They have to work around the NY6 bowl games, or at the very least, Rose Bowl & Sugar Bowl are NYD.
fukk it, go back to rotating the Rose, Orange & Sugar as the title game. Or even just the Rose & Sugar.
man fukk all that. That's whats holding the motion back. Still trying to honor all that oudated bowl game shyt. And this is coming from an LA nikka who loves the Rose Bowl. That time is up. Can't be having random playoff games on Wednesday afternoons when you're trying to set up a schedule that optimizes interest. Title game is most important.

We gotta move on from wasting an entire saturday with Army/Navy. Not only does no one give a fukk about that game, but it can potentially have playoff implications. Like you said, they should start with the first round, that weekend right after CCG, and then the winner of the conference won't have some stupid long layoff before they have to play again, b/c that was clearly no benefit as all the teams with a bye, lost.
