That's not my point. People throw on football on broadcast simply because it's on. Family over, "oh what's on?" throw on the football game... because everyone in the country has NBC or FOX as an option. You have to have paid extra somewhere to watch the CFP whether it's a cable package or a streaming service.

How many people have cable packages in the U.S. now... it's around 65 million which is down from 100+ million ten years ago.

Ohio St./Tennessee was a blowout in the first quarter and still did 14.3 million viewers. That's a huge number for a first round blowout. Watch what the game with Oregon does. That was basically an NBA Finals or World Series number
