Ethan banged on the door and she took long to open it (which explains only a bit of kissing occurring) but without intervention, they damn well could have ended up fukking

But the timeline is important. They headed to the room 15 minutes before Ethan did, he couldn't have intervened right after Cam kissed her for 2 seconds. If Ethan got out the water, saw them leaving the bar and was right behind them, then yeah, he could've intervened shortly after they got to the room. But Harper's timeline doesn't make sense.

She also didn't tell about Cameron making a move because she told Ethan that Cameron pulled his dikk out in front of her, and Ethan was like .

I've gotta rewatch the scene to see how Harper described it, but it seemed like Ethan took it as dude just kinda pulled off his shorts not thinking anything of it, not saying that shyt is cool at all, but he might've taken that as him not thinking about it.

I think Harper and Cam fukked, but there’s no way to know for sure. We do know she’s not being completely truthful about what happened in the same way she knew Ethan wasn’t being completely truthful about his night with the hookers. We, the audience KNOW Ethan didn’t fukk, but with his repeated attempts to tell less than the truth it’s no wonder that Harper wouldn’t believe he didn’t fukk. Even after “coming clean” Ethan was still acting cheeky about speaking to whores in the lobby…for no logical reason at all he makes himself look guilty instead of confiding in Harper that messy Cam didn’t even complete his payment. It’s certainly plausible that Harper too is illogically choosing to withhold some meaningless truth not realizing/accepting that doing so makes her look guilty af.

Wether or not Harper actually fukked, the damage is done in that relationship. They leave Sicily no longer under this guise (which may have been true before) that their relationship is built on complete honesty. They now know that they will withhold the truth when they ‘need’ to and their spouse will do the same.

That was all Greg’s doing. He said, after he showed her around Italy his last night, that he wanted to show her the best night of her life before giving her the bad news that he had to leave. He had that same mentality with the whole trip: give her the best week of her life, treat her like a superstar where she hangs with the cool people who think she’s cool and gets to fukk and be lusted after by some young hunk before killing her and pillaging her fortune. That’s the only reason this elaborate rouse makes any sense to begin with.
