I JUST saw this this afternoon and I was disappointed. I thought this character was too overpowered to the point where nothing seemed like a challenge. maybe I'm missing out on her history, but I thought this was one of the weaker marvel films to be honest.

that's a problem with writing homie

superman's entire thing is being overpowered.... that's not the issue. framing it and still finding a way to tell a full story with it is a job that writer's should be familiar with by now

yes a movie was made talking about why she looked overpowered, half complete as a character, etc goes hand in hand with the writing which was bottomed out. still trying to figure out why her friend was saying carol was the strongest person she knew when all she did was take Ls and hang around. stuff like that not being answered while she can at the same time out-willpower the AI is not giving a shyt as far as writing at any level goes...

We just got from seeing this. I'mma be straight and unbiased as I always am. I really enjoyed the second act with Fury and Carol in their buddy cop roles. Samuel L. Jackson is never not entertaining. Brie had a solid amount of chemistry with him. I liked little miss Lt. Trouble, she was adorable. Mendelsen was entertaining too and I enjoyed the twist, in a weird way it reminded me of the Jew/Palestinian conflicts I don't know if that was the intention but that's what caught my eye.

The first and third acts didn't work as well for me. I thought the CGI was spotty and the action in the first part was uninspired. I liked the third act a little more once she is unleashed but still thought the CGI looked a little cheap. I feel Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor Ragnorak did the cosmic elements much better and obviously Infinity War.

Brie's acting was so-so, like I said I thought she was decent with Sam Jackson but in other parts wooden.

I liked the nods to how it all began etc. Movie ain't trash but I wouldn't say it's good either. A whole lot of arguing over nothing..

Took Rocky 4 movies to be complete
Like Skywalker 3
And Harry Potter what.... 9?

Also..... man creates AI.... that was alien so it was something entirely different

What did I "bytch" about? Show me a post where I bytched about this movie.. I didn't criticize anything that was put on screen prior to viewing it.

I can make mention casting choices, I can make mention what others say about this or that but I never once said anything about what is on screen.

This is the difference between what is a fan and what is a stan. I can watch these movies and be unbiased, I don't attack people over every little thing and detail of what they say
