With out spoilers do I need to watch this to enjoy the next avengers film?

I would answer this question like this

If you a fan of the MCU in its entirety and been rocking with them since Day 1, then yes why not.

But if you’re more of a casual and just onlt wanna see the bigger event stuff and have no problem potentially being left out in the dark with certain nuances and details that may or may not present itself and won’t question the “logic” of certain things or complain later.... then no

Saw it yesterday. Thought it was decent. Actors had great chemistry but movie overall was standard fare. Didn't see the twist coming but I'm not up on marvel lore like that.

Id be interested to see if a sequel will make that cap 1 to cap 2 jump.

Breh I've been day 1 for every single release but during infinity war that super hero fatigue kicked in and I remember despite loving every moment of it I thought I'm out after the next avengers film.

100+ Sci Fi flicks

200 thrillers

20+ animated films

100 horror films


But we exhausted over a few comic book movies?

They need to either write her out (not gonna happen), or totally re-imagine her. She is a terrible actress (in this). In trying to look tough she just looks ridiculous. Compare her to the rest of Star Force. All of them looked like seasoned warriors to a man, and woman, apart from Vers who was trying to act tuff while failing miserably.

Look at the poses she takes up in these scenes. Since was does being tough == clenched fist? Always... It is beyond a joke. Other actors show their steeliness by posture, stature, facial expression, tone of voice.

And it is not about aiming her weapons - else it would be held out like all the other armaments. See pic 4... It is because it is her free hand.

Gemma Chan showed ten times the sass, ten times the charisma, came across like a menacing warrior without any of the hackneyed physical theatrics. She displayed 10 times the personality and likeability with less than one tenth of the number of lines. All in the same film, with the same directors.
