My beef ain't the plot it was the total lack of intensity in the fight scenes

MOS had this BEAST

The crazy thing is though....

High much value do we hold in the fight scenes?

MOS fight scenes were better than all the fight scenes in TDK trilogy but in the end that trilogy and especially TDK blows this movie out the park and it didn’t really even have a good fight scene

Like the value of it.... is it a set scale or sliding scale depending on how we want to use it to prop up or disparage the movie of our agendas?

But in a straight up CM vs MOS comparison I much would have preferred a MOS tone instead of a halfway GOTG/Thor 3 tone.

He was fighting equally powerful foes.

Nobody was as powerful as Danvers in this movie. And the Kree she fought initially were refugees. The kree she fought were not on her level. But because she was human their arrogance thought they could defeat her.

No other marvel movie yes i agree. I respect peoples opinions on how they felt about certain movie but when it starts blurring the lines of political jargon it becomes too much.

Tracking says it might make a Billy, i hope critics keep that SAME energy and say box office dont matter like they did when AquaGOAT broke all records

Honestly it feels too much like a phase 1 joint IMO. Seems like they were scared to make anything more nuanced, which was surprising considering the run from thor3>BP>IW.

Like the whole Kree/Skrull stuff was way too simplistic with the semi-predictible twist, and the whole plot was telegraphed the entire time.

I thought Brie Larson was cool, had more personality than I was expecting. Thought Sam Jack and Jude law were a waste. Ben M. was the mvp though, glad to see bro not play a straight up villain for once.

Agreed, which is why altho i understand others criticism of Brie's acting, i just feel those above her pay grade could've constructed a more intriguing story, or a less complicated tie-in for that Infinity War mid credit that essentially boxed themselves into having to explain how Fury suddenly had access to a Superman-level character all this time. Otherwise they could've just kept the whole CM movie as it's own space odyessy and just done a simple "Hey Carol, Thanos fukkin shyt up back on your birth planet" post-credit to call it a day.

Spectrum is interesting, because she's going to be roughly Nakia's (Lupita's) age in the current day MCU. The big issue is how she'll get her own powers, and how much opportunity they'd allow for that assuming it would all have to happen in CM 2.
